Acupuncturist

Hi there - I'm Jenny. Thank you so much for taking the time to look through my website. I hope it provides you with the information you need to help you make the right choice for your health and wellbeing journey.
My journey to becoming a fully qualified professional acupuncturist has taken three years of study at The Acupuncture Academy, Royal Leamington Spa (taking a short break to have one of my lovely babies!). Driven by my own treatment experiences and fascination of the power of acupuncture to help others, I decided to leave my job as an English teacher in 2015 to pursue an equally rewarding career in acupuncture.
Having completed a diploma in paediatrics under the world renowned practitioner Rebecca Avern in 2023, I now welcome children and young people into clinic to support them with a range of conditions. These include: digestive issues, appetite, chronic cough, headaches, mental health concerns and sleep issues to name a few. Acupuncture and adjunctive therapies (such as medical Tui Na massage and Shonishin) are safe to use form birth and are a gentle and effective way of treating common concerns.
I also have a strong interest in women's health and regularly see women with concerns such as: pre-conception health, IVF support, pre-birth support, post-natal care, peri-menopause, menopause symptoms and menstrual related concerns.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) which is the leading self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. It is a member-led organisation, governed by an elected Governing Board and driven by a specialist staff team.
They provide members with a wide range of services to facilitate practice and ensure the highest standards. Their responsibilities include:
maintaining the highest professional standards of practice for acupuncture in the UK
overseeing and accrediting acupuncture education to ensure excellence in training
funding evidence-based clinical research on the benefits of traditional acupuncture
As a member I am bound by the Council's stringent Standards of Practice and Codes of Ethics.
I am also excited to have contributed to the Association of Five Element Acupuncturists website. You can learn more about this organisation and view my AFEA blog at: https://afea.co.uk/
